Lazy Day Vegan Wear

So today I didn’t feel like doing any thing too elaborate.  Well, honestly, I guess that’s how I always dress, but who doesn’t love some super comfy, lazy day vegan wear?  On days where I just want to wake up and go, I always reach for leggings.  Even when you’re being lazy, a pair of kick-ass leggings can make it look like you are making an effort (little do they know!).

In the real world, I wear size small tops, but I often buy size medium or large for days like this so I can have a nice big, flowy fit (this works great in case you need something to wear after you’ve eaten too much BLOOOOOAT!).  I have a big thing for the sporty number look, so I went with a white 100% cotton 3/4 sleeve shirt.  Underneath is a shelf bra tank top – also another go-to item (100% cotton).  The leggings make me think of spring, and since it was a beautiful 75 degrees out today, I went with the light floral design.  The leggings are a soft 92% polyester with 8% spandex.I added the lazy day Sanuks that don’t match at all, but match just perfect – 100% vegan sandals.  The trucker hat is my fav.  It adds a little contrast and really, I just wanted to hide my bed head.

TIP!  On days when I have some extra time or I’m putting away laundry, I’ll make a quick outfit or 3 and set them aside.  This makes it waaaaaaaaaaaay easier when you are waking up in one of those what to wear funks – where you stare at your closet endlessly.  This way you can pick one of the quick ones you made so you don’t even have to think about it!

Ahhhhhhhhhh.  The old what do I wear to the beach thing.  Well for me, I wear all kinds of kooky stuff.

On beach days, my thought process goes like this: 1.  Stay comfortable  2.  Can I walk in the very shallow water with what I’m wearing?  3. Will this outfit be annoying if I get sandy.  Once I’ve gone down that checklist, I’m ready to pick out what I’m wearing and go!

This beach day happened to be very overcast and slightly cool.  I was on a surfer’s beach, so I wouldn’t be laying around, mostly walking (high tides and cliffs).  So, I went with super comfy leggings, a rad, lightweight beachy, ripped sweatshirt and an extremely lightweight cotton long sleeve for underneath.Vegan Beach Wear Fashion
The leggings are 92% poly and 8% spandex – super soft.  I got them on Zuilily’s.  You can find tons of great, inexpensive leggings on Zulily

The sweatshirt is 100% cotton, pink and gray with a completely ripped back.  It’s long in the back than in the front, a good butt cover!  I got this gem at Love Culture for $6.99!

The lightweight 100% cotton seafoam green top is Mudd’s Burnout Top, from Kohl’s.  I got it for about $5 with a coupon.  And when I say lightweight, I mean it’s like it’s almost not there.

I got tons of comments and compliments on this outfit in this tiny little surfer beach town.  Including one person thinking I was on a model photoshoot.  I’ll take it!  (Ignore the flops, the Sanuks I had on got all sandy and wet, oops).
